Priya Desai is a fourth year medical student at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine pursuing otolaryngology. She recently completed a dedicated research year with the UNC Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery Department as a Howard Holderness distinguished scholar. Her research focused on chronic rhinosinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and cleft palate and craniofacial outcomes. She has presented her reserach at both regional and national conferences. She is committed to integrating clinical research with surgical training to advance patient centered outcomes in practice.
