Noriko Yoshikawa, MD is a neurotologist practicing at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. She is has been an active member on the AAO-HNS Diversity Committee over the years, and created the AAO URM Away Rotation Grant through the Diversity Committee and the Diversity Endowment. She has a passion for teaching about implicit bias and is a vocal ally and advocate for increased diversity, equity and inclusion whether it is regarding race, ethnicity, gender, gender-status, sexual orientation, religion or ability. She has a mindfulness and yoga practice, and is a proponent of root cause medicine, and the importance of lifestyle factors in underlying health. She has additional certifications with the Americaln Board of Lifestyle Medicine and American Board of Medical Acupuncture. She is the Assistant Program Director of for the Kaiser Permanente residency program, and also serves on the Diversity Committee of Kaiser Permanente East Bay. She went to undergraduate at Cornell University, then Albert Einstein College of Medicine for her MD. Dr. Yoshikawa completed her residency at University of Colorado, and fellowship in neurotology at UPMC.
