My name is Ron McCall and I am currently a fourth year medical student at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Prior to starting medical school, I had a 10-year career in the insurance industry which has given me a unique perspective on medicine that continues to influence my approach to patient advocacy, research, and interdisciplinary teamwork. My research interests include craniofacial surgery, cleft lip and palate care, craniosynostosis, and microsurgical free flap reconstruction with an emphasis on outcomes, access to care, and health policy.
