Supriya Kumar, BS is a second-year medical student at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Her research interests center on improving access to meaningful care in head and neck oncology, where treatment decisions account for the full context of a patient's history, values, and wellbeing. Relatedly, she is interested in embedding narrative medicine early in medical education to cultivate humanistic practice that endures across a career.
