Mr.
Western University of Health and Sciences
I’m a third-year medical student at Western University. Originally from Iran, I moved to the United States to pursue a career in medicine. I’m interested in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, especially craniofacial surgery, facial reconstruction, regenerative medicine, and translational research.
Over the years, I’ve been involved in research ranging from tissue engineering and ex vivo organ perfusion to facial reanimation and craniofacial outcomes. I’ve had the opportunity to present my work at regional and national conferences and continue to stay involved in projects focused on reconstructive and pediatric head and neck surgery.
Outside of medicine, you’ll usually find me on a tennis court, playing with French bulldogs whenever I come across one, or experimenting with making great coffee. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, mentoring students, and getting involved in community service. As I continue my training, I hope to combine research, innovation, and compassionate patient care to make a meaningful impact in the field of Otolaryngology.
