Abigail (Abbie) Anderson, BS, is a third-year medical student at the University of Washington School of Medicine currently completing a dedicated research year before applying to otolaryngology residency. She is a member of the Airway & Esophageal Center research team at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she conducts research under the mentorship of Dr. Kaalan Johnson and Dr. Sheng Zhou. Her research interests include pediatric airway disorders, pediatric dysphagia, and simulation-based education in otolaryngology. Prior to medical school, she graduated from Seattle Pacific University, where she competed on the women’s soccer team.
