James Lu, BA is a medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and he is currently a research fellow in the Hwa Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. His research at Rutgers with Dr. Phillip Purnell investigates the influence of HPV genotype on surgical burden in adult recurrent respiratory papillomatosis using individual participant data meta-analysis. He has presented research at national meetings including the American Cochlear Implant Alliance conference. He plans to pursue a career in otolaryngology.
