I am a fourth-year medical student at Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. Born in Cuba, I immigrated to the United States as a teenager, an experience that shaped my resilience, adaptability, and commitment to serving underserved communities.
My passion for otolaryngology grew through meaningful clinical experiences and mentorship. I am particularly interested in the field's unique combination of surgical precision, innovation, community, and the opportunity to restore essential functions that improve quality of life and human connection.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling, seeking new adventures, long walks with my two Goldendoodles, playing pickleball, and challenging myself to learn new piano pieces.
