Lily Huang, BA, is a medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her academic interests center on otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, with research spanning head and neck cancer biology, chemotherapy resistance, hearing outcomes, healthcare disparities, and surgical outcomes. She has contributed to basic science, clinical, and population-based research and has a particular interest in translating mechanistic discoveries into improved patient care. She is also involved in medical illustration and uses visual communication to make complex surgical and scientific concepts more accessible.
