Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
Caroline Worthington is a medical student at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and serves as class president and first generation in medicine president.
Originally from San Francisco, she graduated from Pomona College, where she played collegiate lacrosse. Before medical school, Caroline spent time living in Australia, where she worked as an athletic trainer for an Australian Rules football team, and later worked as an ED and ENT scribe at Stanford, experiences that inspired her interest in pursuing ENT.
Caroline currently conducts research with the ENT departments at Stanford and Henry Ford. She recently traveled to Africa to contribute to global health research in Botswana through the Harvard–University of Botswana Partnership, working with ED and OBGYN teams, and also spent time in Ethiopia with Mayo Clinic ENT.
Outside of medicine, Caroline enjoys teaching adaptive skiing and volunteering at a therapeutic riding center. In her free time, she loves backpacking, skiing, surfing, and getting lost in a good book.
