This session provides a practical, evidence-based overview of contemporary endoscopic DCR. Attendees will review key anatomic landmarks, step-by-step surgical technique, and tools that enhance safety and efficiency. Current controversies—including use of lacrimal stents and topical antimetabolites—will be discussed, along with strategies for managing failed or revision cases. Coding and reimbursement basics will also be covered. Participants will leave with the knowledge and confidence to incorporate endoscopic DCR into their practice.
Learning Objectives:
Review the relevant anatomy for endoscopic DCR.
Discuss the surgical steps (including techniques and instrumentation) for endoscopic DCR.
Discuss the controversies in endoscopic DCR management including the use of stents and antimetabolites.
