This case-based panel provides practical guidance on glottic gap management for the comprehensive otolaryngologist. Through real-world cases across age groups, panelists will cover observation criteria, office-based injection laryngoplasty technique, and referral indications. Attendees will gain actionable skills to manage the glottic gap in their own practices.

Learning Objectives:

Distinguish glottic gap etiologies amenable to observation or office-based intervention from those requiring surgical referral based on clinical and laryngoscopic findings.
Select appropriate patients and injection materials for office-based medialization laryngoplasty, recognizing contraindications and expected outcomes across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Demonstrate a systematic approach to glottic gap evaluation and management applicable to comprehensive otolaryngology practice, including timing of intervention and referral thresholds.
