A case-based approach to diagnosis and management of EAC cholesteatoma will be used. Disease prevention, conservative management, and a step- wise approach to early disease will be explored. The presenters will also focus on when surgical management of these lesions is appropriate with focus on the Bondy mastoidectomy, defect reconstruction, and how to address extension into the glenoid fossa and infratemporal fossa. The special consideration of canal cholesteatoma in the setting of osteoradionecrosis of the temporal bone will also be addressed.

Recommend an appropriate surgical approach for advanced disease
