External ear, disease and ear drainage is a very common complaint seen by general otolaryngologist. While, external otitis is the most common, there are many other etiologies we address. This course is designed for general OtoLaryngologist.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss common conditions of the external and middle ear causing refractory otorrhea, highlighting simple and refractory treatment options.
Identify currently-approved FDA topical medications for treatment of external and middle ear disease.
Review the literature and practice experience with non-FDA approved therapies for external and middle ear disease.
