This course provides a framework for diagnosis and management of laryngomalacia, the most common cause for noisy breathing in the infant and a participant in other childhood aerodigestive conditions. The objectives below will be addressed by international experts and video demonstrations.

1) Review the etiology of congenital laryngomalacia and predictors of disease severity and treatment outcomes while describing conventional and controversial medical and surgical approaches.
2) Describe atypical laryngomalacia presentations and role in childhood OSA, feeding disorders and exercise intolerance. Interventions and outcomes addressed.
3) Apply holistic approach to evaluation, management and surgical intervention for best outcomes and improved quality of life in children with laryngomalacia.
