Part 1 of this Expert Lecture pair reviews unique challenges of surgery randomized trials in pediatric and adult populations, and Part 2 illustrates solutions to the challenges with completed rigorous surgery randomized trials in the context of pediatric and adult obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
