This session will provide an educational overview of a range of neurogenic voice disorders, including differentiation between laryngeal dystonia and essential vocal tremor, as well as dysphonia associated with motor movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and multiple system atrophy (MSA). Through case-based presentations, the panel will highlight clinical cases accompanied by audio examples to illustrate key diagnostic features and differential considerations. Moderated discussion will emphasize patient-centered treatment planning and the critical role of multidisciplinary collaboration, underscoring the importance of incorporating a neurolaryngology-focused speech-language pathologist to achieve optimal, individualized patient care.
