This lecture will compare CPAP, surgery, nerve stimulation therapy, and GLP-1 agonist treatment outcomes and patient selection to expand the repertoire and application of multiple different types of treatments for adults with obstructive sleep apnea.

Learning Objectives:

Define the roles of CPAP, reconstructive surgery, nerve stimulation therapy, and weight loss medication for treatment of adult obstructive sleep apnea.
Compare the outcomes of these therapies.
Recite key evidence that supports the roles of these therapies.
