Attendees will explore the current and future applications of augmented reality (AR) in otolaryngology head and neck surgery. This multi-subspecialty, case-based panel will highlight AR in preoperative planning, intraoperative navigation, and surgical education. Discussion will cover practical implementation, benefits, limitations, and impact on patient care, operating room safety, and surgical training. Applications across subspecialties including facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck oncology, laryngology, pediatric otolaryngology, otology, and rhinology will be addressed.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the status of augmented reality use in otolaryngology utilizing current real world case examples.
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the future potential for augmented reality in otolaryngology to enhance postgraduate medical education and improve surgical patient care.
