This panel will explore the expanding role of point-of-care ultrasound in humanitarian otolaryngology. Experts will discuss its diagnostic value, cost-effectiveness, and applicability to common head and neck conditions, share lessons from global ultrasound training initiatives, and present perspectives from low- and middle-income countries on future needs and sustainable implementation.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, the participant will be able to describe the clinical applications and cost-effectiveness of point-of-care ultrasound for common head and neck conditions in low-resource settings.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify key barriers, opportunities, and best practices for implementing ultrasound training programs in humanitarian and global health contexts.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to recognize future directions for sustainable integration of point-of-care ultrasound into otolaryngology practice in low- and middle-income countries.
